Sheet Loaf

A biomaterial made from bread waste

Sheet loaf is an experimental biomaterial that is strong, durable, and made from old bread combined with paper pulp. It offers a wide range of applications, particularly in packaging. Various experiments were conducted using bread waste beginning with exploring plastics to eventually creating a structural material that consists of 80% bread waste and 20% recycled paper by weight.

I designed the Sheet Loaf beer packaging as well as created the project video using Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.
